Popular cuts will be easily maintainable medium length hair that can be done in a wide variety of styles. Therefore, it won't be difficult to get a variety of edgy looks quickly and effectively with the minimum of hassle. Classic looks will be popular but with fanciful touches to add a twist. Fringes look set to remain popular but in a wider variety of styles.

However, despite the obvious top styles there looks set to be a greater degree of diversity in hairstyles than there have been for a long time. Of course there will always be those who like long hair and those who like short, but this year's key to diversity seems to be shot up by celebrity culture. At the tail end of last year and the start of this year there where a wide variety of popular styles being sported by celebs that really stood out. As a result it looks like the array of long and short styles will be more emphasised than ever before.

Colour

Colours look set to be in the extremes this year. Much of last year was about understated subtle tones, but this year looks set to really go all out on colour.
